About the Service

Joel Goldsmith, renowned twentieth century mystic, teacher, healer, and revelator of The Infinite Way message, conducted classes around the globe and used the technology of his day—the reel-to-reel tape recorder—to record his classes and share them with students worldwide. These recordings have been preserved over the years.

Today, the Estate of Joel Goldsmith, through the Infinite Way Office, is using streaming technology to make the entire collection of more than 1250 recordings available to spiritual seekers.  Listen to Sue Ropac, Joel’s granddaughter and Manager of The Infinite Way Office, speak about the recordings and the service:

About The Infinite Way Office and the Estate of Joel S. Goldsmith

In 1951, Joel Goldsmith established The Infinite Way Office to provide a single trustworthy source for authentic Infinite Way material. At Joel’s request, Emma Goldsmith , Joel’s wife, started what was then called “The Tape Department” and took on the responsibility for cataloging, preserving, duplicating, and distributing the recordings.

Following Joel’s transition in 1964, the Estate of Joel Goldsmith assumed ownership of Joel’s work, and Emma Goldsmith became the trustee. She continued to maintain the Office, preserving Joel’s original work and keeping the Office as the sole source for authentic recordings and material. In 1977, Geri McDonald, Emma’s daughter, took over responsibility for these activities and ran the Office with her daughter, Sue Ropac. When Geri transitioned in 2012, Sue became trustee for the Estate, custodian of Joel’s original work, and manager of The Infinite Way Office.

Joel was adamant that there never be an Infinite Way organization. He believed that organization could “put the veil” on a spiritual message and obscure the original teaching. And, he wanted students to be free to follow their own spiritual light with no binding ties to an organization.

To this day, there is no Infinite Way organization. The Infinite Way Office exists to preserve and maintain Joel’s original work; to be the sole source for authentic recordings; and to support Infinite Way students through the Streaming Service, the Infinite Way Monthly Letter, the Inner Kingdom Consciousness Study Course, and classes. The Office has no organizational function.

Whenever Emma came to one of Joel’s classes in Hawaii, Joel reserved a seat for her and placed a white orchid on it. On the home page of this website, the white orchid in the wreath around the image of Joel is a tribute to Emma. We would not have the treasure of Joel’s original class recordings today without Emma’s vision, commitment, and unwavering dedication to preserving the work and making it available to students around the world.
